Individual Therapy
All starts with a conversation. I aim to create a curious and compassionate space to explore your thoughts, beliefs, feelings, and sensations without judgment or attachment. I let curiosity lead the way. I encourage you to step back from what at times feels like an impossible problem to solve, from feeling stuck, from fear and emotional pain, and show you a way to become more present, undisturbed, open, and grounded in your body and inner core Self; that place within you where you can find Clarity, Courage, Confidence, Compassion, Curiosity, Connectedness, Creativity and Calmness.
Family Therapy
Family therapy can be a powerful and effective way to address issues that go beyond your influence and control or even the work you might do in your own individual therapy. I work with all types of families to help them get unstuck from patterns of hurt and defensiveness. Each family member is invited to explore the actions, beliefs, and feelings that fuel defensiveness and unhealthy family dynamics. Initially, I use a direct approach to facilitate healthier dialogue. As the work progresses, I encourage more direct communication between family members; after all, the answers to interpersonal conflicts are within you all.
At the moment, because of licensure, I can only work with family members who reside in Pennsylvania.

Parent/Caregiver Coaching
It does takes a village. Parent/caregivers at times might need a hand, a new perspective, some practical advice, or just a space to be heard when flooded with resentment, guilt, shame, or hopelessness. Among several strategies, I utilize the Multi-Modal Attachment Therapy model to help caregivers and children reconnect and re-establish a healthy caring hierarchy between you the adult and your child or adolescent. Co-regulating is essential to effective parenting. I will model and teach you about the 5 P's of Self-Leadership: Patience, Perspective, Presence, Persistence, and Playfulness.
I also have ample experience collaborating with school administrators and teachers. So, if you sit in dread, just waiting for that next phone call from the school, I am here to support you, your child and the adults at school to better understand the "good reasons" your child might be struggling.
Walk and Talk for individuals
Nature is my biggest healer and teacher, it centers me, it brings perspective, re-connects me with my true Self, and teaches me to BE present in a way that few other spaces do. I like to tap into nature's wisdom while you and I walk, observe, breathe, listen, and reflect. I go at your pace while supporting your Self-exploration. If fidgety or bored parts of you find it difficult to sit in an office or Zoom call, when sustained eye contact feels too intense, and screens feel too impersonal, if your body learns better while in motion, then this could perhaps be a more natural way for you BE in a therapy session. The bilateral stimulation of walking can relax the body and make harder topics easier to tackle, and the Wissahickon, the largest urban park in our region, is just magical.
